As I post this, I am sipping a cold sweet weissbier. But as you lads already know, I am unable to enjoy this magnificent beer with some wings. Like Bonnie without Clyde or Hansel without Gretel. Instead, I'm having my beer with the next best thing. Spicy olives. There are these little strips of spicy pimento pepper in the hollow of the seedless green olives. Not bad actually but what wouldn't I do for a McGrady's suicide hot wing. Mmmmm. Someone has to teach the Germans how to make wings.
Well it is the holiday time of the year. And that only means one thing. Gluhwein season. Pronounced "Gluevine". Now this genius invention almost makes up for the lack of wings. Basically it is heated redwine with some spices in it (cinnamon, cloves etc.). It is so frigging cold here I dunno where global warming is when you need it. But that's ok because with Gluhwein in my tummy I no longer feel glummy.
On a scale of 10 wings, I give Gluhwein 8 spicy wings!!!
There, my first drink review. Happy now Longname?
